Victoria Farrar
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Oversees Technology and Business Services departments (including Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounting, Budgeting, Banking, and Procurement). She has over ten years experience managing all areas of school operations including human resources, transportation, business services, food service, maintenance, and accounting. She is a member of the Arizona Association of School Business Officials, and currently serves on the membership committee. She received her MBA from Grand Canyon University, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in Political Science.
Anita Case
Asst. Director of Financial Services
Anita Case is a native Phoenician and has worked for four other school districts prior to accepting her current position at Cartwright. Prior to working in purchasing, she assisted in several kindergarten classes as a Paraprofessional as well as helping run a preschool program at Centennial High School. These experiences, as well as hours spent volunteering in her own children's classes, have given her a clear understanding of how procurement impacts the students within the District everyday.
Since becoming a procurement professional, she has discovered how much she truly enjoys this part of public education; she explains, "Insuring compliance with state and federal requirements may sound tedious to some, but I believe it is a crucial part of instilling trust with our stakeholders. I appreciate the difficulty in adhering to the myriad requirements and strive to be a positive, helpful resource for all our District personnel." Anita has been a member of AASBO (Arizona Association of School Business Officials) for several years and has presented at previous conferences.
Dana Shaw
Payroll Administrator
Dana joins us with a lot of experience in accounting and procurement. Dana worked 36 years with Kroger, parent company of Ralph's, where 20 years of that time he served as the Store Director. He had managed 10 different individual locations with Ralph's. Recently he worked with Dysart Unified School District as the Food Warehouse and Procurement Manager. He has been happily married for 42 years! He has 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
